Give a Gift 2021

Donate a Christmas gift and make a child's wish come true.

This year Atria Watford are partnering with local charities Homestart and Watford Mencap. Simply pick up a gift whilst shopping in centre and pop it into the Giving Box located on the the upper mall outside Goldsmiths.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated, for example water toys, barbies, soft footballs, colouring books or sensory toys.

The Big Give Christmas Challenge!

Home-Start Watford & Three Rivers are taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge!

Between 30th November and 7th December, we have the chance to meet Santa and Four Acre Trust's generous matching pot of £2,750. Up to this target, all our donations will be doubled.

All donations will go towards their Making Memories Appeal, providing the chance for families facing financial hardship to have fun 'days out'. It will enable families to spend quality times together away from the stresses and strains of everyday life, making memories they couldn't otherwise have.

You can even get in the festive spirit with your phone, tablet or PC as Visit Watford bring back their Christmas Calendar Competition!

All you have to do is follow Visit Watford on Facebook and/or Instagram and look out for their amazing prize giveaways during December.

Past prizes have included hotel stays, theatre tickets, a £100 Watford Gift card, a bottomless brunch for 2 at The Florist and more – all you need to do is ‘like’ their posts to enter!

Festive Wreath Making Workshop

The Botanical Bunch have a wonderful festive wreath making workshop for you to enjoy taking place at Ocean bells coffee shop!

It’s the perfect way to get you in the festive spirit, and your very own wreath creation could act as a brilliant Christmas Gift or as a lovely addition to your front door or dining table.

Get your skates on for Atria Watford’s Christmas Roller Disco!

Sessions are completely free and skate hire is included; however we advise you to pre-book to avoid disappointment. All slots are for one hour (including getting your skates on).

Please ensure you arrive within 10 minutes of the session start time as unfortunately we may not be able to accommodate anyone who arrives more than 15 minutes late.

Pantomime: Dick Whittington and His Cat

Christmas Market Lates

Following the success of the Summer and Halloween Market Lates, Watford Council & Watford Market are now planning for the Christmas special in December!

It will include festive gifts and craft stalls, live music and street food. Full details can be found on their Facebook event page

Giant Light Show and Christmas Market

Wellspring Church, in partnership with the Watford Museum, is putting on a giant light show and Christmas market. Everyone is welcome to enjoy free hot drinks and mince pies, explore the Christmas market, and watch a festive light show projected across the Wellspring building, with original music and video shedding new light on the original Christmas story.

The first showing will be at 4:30pm after Mayor Peter Taylor lights the beacon at Watford Museum.

The market will be fun for the whole family with the Crêpes Fantastique van for warm and wonderful French crepes, free fair games & Christmas crafts for families to do together, and stalls filled with homemade baked goods & handcrafted gifts! Watford Museum will also be open until 8pm for visitors to enjoy, including their special exhibitions and gifts from the Museum Shop. Elf Car

Join some of Santa's Elves over the weekend of the 11 and 12 December as they help you get your message to Santa and bring cheer to the High Street!

The 'Elf Car' is unique and is the only one in the world. It has a magical letterbox in the boot which interacts and laughs when children post their letter to Santa. There is a photo booth which the elf team will take pictures of families and print out for you for free. There's also a DJ system and light show with smoke and bubble machine attached to disco lights. The front driving seat is a spaceship styled cockpit the child sits in and face times Santa.

Charity Christmas Wrapping

Home-start will be wrapping Christmas presents in Atria on December 22nd, our team and volunteers will be available from 10am to 6.30pm to wrap everyone’s Christmas presents for a donation to their charity.
